Ransomville Festival of Wreaths - November 26th

The annual Ransomville Festival of Wreaths will take place on Sunday, November 26th with a day full of free family friendly activities.  A complete schedule of events is listed below.  There will be a continuous shuttle bus transporting attendees throughout the day from 12:30 - 5pm to the event locations.


Community residents and Business owners can enter in the wreath contest, which will be judged by festival attendees at the American Legion O. Leo Curtiss Post 830 at 2589 Youngstown Lockport Rd, on Sunday, November 26th from 12:30 - 3:00pm.  Voting will take place for the top three community and top three business wreaths with prizes awarded at the Closing Ceremony held at the Ransomville Baptist Church (2578 Youngstown Lockport Rd) at 4:45pm.  To enter the contest, please pick up the un-decorated wreath from November 15th through November 22nd at Scott PC / Porter Empty Return Center (3628 Ransomville Rd).


The community is also encouraged to participate in the Family Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, November 25th. The hunt begins and ends at Johnston's Restaurant (2575 Academy Street) from 4pm - 7pm.  Pre-registration is available at Patti's Cut Above during regular business hours from November 15th through November 24th.  Teams are a maximum of five participants, including the driver who must be 21 or older.  Prizes will be awarded at 7pm.


Saturday, November 25

1:00                               Rachel DiNunzio & Beth Livingston will present their books on Love, Kindness & Acceptance at Ransomville Free Library.  Every person will go home with a free book!

4:00 - 7:00                   Family Scavenger Hunt - Begins at 4pm and ends at 7pm at Johnston's Restaurant.

3:45 - 4:30                   Magic Show by Charlie and Checkers
