"A Taste of Jazz"

Tickets available now for annual Northwest Jazz Festival, Lewiston, NY fundraiser




LEWISTON, NY: The popular "Jazz and Pasta" fundraiser is just around the corner and has been expanded and renamed "A Taste of Jazz".  This annual event has become a "not to be missed" happening and is highly anticipated by all in Western New York as it signals the beginning of Spring and soon  to be upon us Festival Season.  This year the event not only has a new name, but a new time.


It will take place on Sunday, April 2nd at Water Street Landing from 4pm - 8pm.  The festival Board of Directors invites all jazz enthusiasts to sample not only a taste of great food but also to listen to some great music. The new music coordinator Tony Zambito has arranged performances by the Jacob Jay Quintet, Carina and the Six String Preacher, and My Cousin Tone'.  Susan Reinhardt is the fundraiser Chairwoman and is encouraging everyone to purchase their tickets in advance to enjoy a great evening of jazz.

Your ticket will include a delicious array of food generously contributed by some of our area's finest restaurants. The evening will also feature a basket auction, '50-50' split, cash bar with special auction items also available.  All proceeds will be used to produce the free two day festival on August 25th and 26th. 


Tickets for A Taste of Jazz are $20 in advance and $25 day of the event and are available for purchase at the Lewiston Village Office, and Niagara River Region Chamber office, information online at www.LewistonJazz.com or by calling 754-9500.
