Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce fulfills 

Board of Director Positions

LEWISTON, NY - At the November Board meeting of the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, elections were held to fulfill open Board of Director positions. The December Board and Member meeting, held at Niagara Falls Country Club on December 9th, passed a vote to ratify the slate of officers filling the open positions commencing January 1, 2016.


New Board Members, Elected to serve three year terms are: Michael Broderick - Orange Cat Coffee Company, Patricia Dettinger - Great Lakes Real Estate, Michael Dowd - Attorney at Law, Sandra Larache - It Happened To Alexa Foundation, Steve Matthews - The Brickyard BBQ & Pub. Aaron Dey - Life Essential Inc., was elected to serve a one year term. Appointed positions to serve three year terms include: Fishing: Bill Hilts Jr. - Niagara Tourism Convention Corp., Education: Michael Freedman - Niagara University, and Healthcare: Fred Caso - Mount. St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center.


The directors elected to serve as representatives from the Business Associations associated with the Chamber are as follows: Lewiston Advisory Committee: Jamie Symmonds - Angel to Apple Clothing Boutique, Ransomville Business & Professional Association: Jeff Baker - Peter Baker Farms, Sanborn Business & Professional Association: Michael Rhoney - Rhoney Funeral Homes, and Youngstown Business & Professional Association - Dotty Riordan. Margaret Toohey - The Lewiston Insurance Agency, was voted to serve on the Executive Board as Secretary.


The Chamber has accepted over thirty resumes for the Sales & Marketing Manager position that will commence in 2016. This position will be a full time addition to the current staff of two employees, Jennifer Pauly - President and Suzanne Raby - Director of Finance & Benefits.
