Lewiston Harvest Festival Sept 26 & 27

32 YEARS!
"Fall" in love with the Niagara River Region!
LEWISTON, NY - One of the favorite fall festivals of the year will take place on Saturday, September 26th and Sunday, September 27th along Center Street in the Village of Lewiston. The Annual Lewiston Harvest Festival, now in it's 32nd year, will run from 10 am - 5 pm both days and is free and open to the public. More than 115 vendors will showcase their artwork, jewelry, woodwork, candles and handmade crafts throughout the weekend.
A
variety of food vendors can be found along the craft show route on Center St. Specialty boutiques, retail shops and local
restaurants will also be open, adding to the charm of the village festival
atmosphere. The Farmers' Market, located
on South Fifth Street and Center Street will include a variety of fall harvest
produce favorites, wine, fresh cider, hardy mums, fresh honey and more.
New
this year is the collaboration between the Wildlife Festival and Harvest
Festival with a shuttle traveling between the two festivals. The pick-up / drop off in the Village of
Lewiston will be near the Historic Frontier House, and will run continuously to
the Niagara Power Authority Visitor Center parking lot. Signage will indicate where the pick-up /
drop off location will be.
On
Saturday, entertainment in the Peace Garden will feature the "Earth Voices of
the Great Spirit" Native American program from 11 - 5pm, hosted by the Lewiston
Council on the Arts. The Hot Country
Line Dances will perform in the Key Bank parking lot at 1:30, and at the
Hennepin Park Gazebo entertainment includes the Niagara Fiddlers Club at Noon
and local musician and owner of Lewiston Music, Tony Petrocelli from 1:30
-3:30pm. Sunday entertainment schedule includes Joe Webber from 11am - 1pm, and
the Judd Sunshine Duo from 2-4pm on the Frontier House Stage, and a Lewiston
Music Showcase from noon - 4pm at the Hennepin Park Gazebo.

Frontier Publications, and Niagara Gazette. The Lewiston Harvest Festival and
Craft Show is the start of the Autumn Season events that take place in the Niagara
River Region. Additional events include
the annual Scarecrow Display along the main streets in the four communities
from October 1st - 31st, Marble Orchard Ghost Walks through October
24th, Autumn Fest in Sanborn October 3rd and 4th, Old Fort Niagara
Haunted Fortress on October 17th and 24th and
Spooktacular at Niagara Power Project Visitors Center on October 24th.
