Ransomville Community Clean Up!by jpauly
The Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce
along with the Ransomville Business Association is encouraging businesses and
organizations that are located in the hamlet of Ransomville to take part in a
community clean up the week of June 8th through the 12th. The clean-up is a chance to tidy up store
fronts, clean up garbage and sweep sidewalks in preparation for the Ransomville
Community Faire June 13th as well as the summer season.
With cooperation from Stevenson's Hardware (2535 Youngstown Lockport Road), each business/organization located along Ransomville Road / Youngstown Lockport Road in the hamlet has received a coupon delivered from the Chamber for one free broom, dustpan, pair of gloves and contractor garbage bag. "Providing the tools for the clean-up is half of the work! Now we are encouraging our businesses to do the other half and assist in tidying up the area around their business or perhaps an area of the hamlet that can use some extra attention", commented Jennifer Pauly, President of the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce "We hope to make this an annual event". Funds for the supplies are made possible by the Chamber, who set aside special funding for beautification projects such as this for each community in the Niagara River Region.
Any business/organization in the business district of Ransomville that did not receive a Community Clean Up coupon, can contact the Chamber at 754-9500.
