$10 on the 10^th - Shop Local Initiative!

LEWISTON, NY -   In honor of the Chamber's 10^th Anniversary in 2015, the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the community to spend $10 on the 10^th of every month with a local merchant rather than a big box chain!  With over 350 members, the chamber is able to provide shoppers with a wide variety of locally owned independent businesses to choose from when deciding where to spend their money.  Support your local merchants each month and celebrate our 10^th anniversary every 10^th of the month and the money stays local, right in our own communities. 

Photos of customers shopping on the 10^th of every month are encouraged and are asked to be shared on social media with the Chamber tagged, using the hashtag #10onthe10th.  Photos can also be emailed to the chamber: Jennifer@niagarariverregion.com or sent by text to 940-1063. 

Retailers are encouraged to send their special promotions for the 10^th of each month to the Chamber for inclusion online.  Examples of discounts include 10% off on the 10^th of each month when 10onthe10th is mentioned.  A complete listing of participating retailers with special promotions can be found online at www.NiagaraRiverRegion.com
