"Fall" in love with the Niagara River Region!


LEWISTON, NY - Celebrate the beginning of autumn in the historic village of Lewiston with the work of Western New York's most talented crafters and jewelry artists. The 31st  Annual Lewiston Harvest Festival and Craft Show will take place on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th along Center Street in the Village of Lewiston. The festival runs from 10 am - 5 pm both days and is free and open to the public. More than 100 vendors will sho wcase their artwork, jewelry, woodwork, candles and handmade crafts throughout the weekend.

A variety of food vendors can be found along the craft show route on Center St.  Specialty boutiques, retail shops and local restaurants will also be open, adding to the charm of the village festival atmosphere.  The Farmers' Market, located on South Fifth Street and Center Street will include a variety of fall harvest produce favorites, hardy mums, fresh honey and more.  Throughout the festival you will also find a selection of wines from local wineries that are a part of the Niagara Wine Trail.

On Saturday, entertainment in the Peace Garden will feature the "Earth Voices of the Great Spirit" Native American program from 11 - 5pm, hosted by the Lewiston Council on the Arts.   The Hot Country Line Dances will perform in the Key Bank parking lot at 1:30, and at the Hennepin Park Gazebo entertainment includes the Niagara Fiddlers Club at Noon and the Lewiston Choraleers at 1pm. Sunday entertainment schedule includes Joe Webber from 11am - 1pm, and local country favorite Colt 45 Country Music Band from 1:30pm - 4pm at the Frontier House Stage.

Sponsors for this year's festival include Hardison Funeral Homes, The Modern Corporation, Tedesco Construction Services, Inc. Niagara Frontier Publications, and Niagara Gazette. The Lewiston Harvest Festival and Craft Show is the start of the Autumn Season events that take place in the Niagara River Region.  Additional events include the annual Scarecrow Display along the main streets in the four communities from October 2nd - 31st, Marble Orchard Ghost Walks through October, The Youngstown Folk Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, October 4th, Autumn Fest in Sanborn October 4th and 5th, Old Fort Niagara Haunted Fortress on October 18th and 25th and Spooktacular at Niagara Power Project Visitors Center on October 25th.
