Create A Scarecrow or Window Display worth Crowing About!

Promote your business, organization, or community in the 2013 Niagara River


Region Scarecrow & Window Display.  Artistic interpretations of a variety of scarecrows as well as beautifully decorated windows will line the main streets of Lewiston, Sanborn, Ransomville and Youngstown this fall.   We ask that you
be creative - encourage your staff to get involved!  This is a great way to boost employee moral, and also showcase your business on your town's main street!

Eligible applicants include a) private business owners/staff, b) community and civic organizations, c) not for profit agencies, d) Schools, Colleges and
Universities and e) residents of the four participating communities.


Judging will take place the week of October 14th through the 18th
and is based on creativity, originality and quality of workmanship.  Prizes for both Scarecrow and Window Display contests include First Place, chosen in each of the four communities as well as one overall prize of "Best in Show" for the entire Niagara River Region. The entry fee is $35 and entry forms, rules and procedures can be downloaded on this page.

Completed entry forms should be submitted to the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce (895 Center Street, Lewiston) no later than September 23, 2013.
