Chamber Elects New Board Membersby jpauly
At the November Board meeting of the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce, elections were held to fulfill open positions and appoint a new Chairman of the Board. Richard J. Haight PE. from Advanced Design Group was elected to fulfill the position as chairman, effective January 1, 2013. The position was previously held by George Osborne of Artpark & Company. The Chamber also moved their office to occupy the Lewiston Welcome Center at 895 Center Street.
New Board Members, Elected to serve three year terms are: Patricia Dettinger - Great Lakes Real Estate, and Michael J. Freedman - Niagara University,
and Bill Hilts, Jr. - Outdoor Sports Specialist. Also re-elected to fulfill three year terms are Michael Broderick - Orange Cat Coffee Company, Michael Dowd - Attorney at Law, Kenneth Scibetta - Lewiston Village Pub & Restaurant, Jamie
Symmonds - Angel to Apple and Judy Maness- Mount St. Mary's Hospital and Health Center. Newly appointed members include Dr. Shawn Daly, Ph.D. from Niagara University, replacing Father Joseph Levesque's board position and Dotty Riordan, representing The Youngstown Business & Professional Association, replacing the position previously held by Kenneth Greulich.
